Opened up Ultimate Doom Builder today and revamped the first Macrocosm boss arena. Plus a cheeky peak at a new (and final) BFG, called "Uncreator", that the Vexed Ascendant boss will drop. #Doom

@ElijahZayd Maybe you rely on the same couple of weapons, but other people rely on different weapons, and that variety from player to player tells me that things are in a good state 🙂

Another new item coming to God Complex is the Hymn of Dimensions. This one creates a dimensional rift that grants near invulnerability while the player is inside. It's kinda cool! #Doom

@ElijahZayd I don't want to force people to use other weapons. I'd prefer to make other options useful in different ways.

I've seen quite a bit of conversation between people talking about the guns they prefer using, and I see a decent variety

God Complex 1.1 is out now, with quite a few new additions. Most importantly imo, it brings changes that make it more intuitive for newer players, like a "Learning Mode", and important HUD elements. #DOOM

I'm also going to try and add a feature that lets you start at a late game progression tier so you can get to the powerfantasy part quicker. Maybe that would be more fun for a stream (if you dare to give it another go lol)

I also really need to figure out auto-aligning health bars... That stuff is a bit out of my league but I'll do my best. Sorry about that complication 😭

Giving the Interruptable mechanic to these big bastards is making them feel less dumb. Break the stamina bar to cancel their big attacks and portal summons 💪 #DOOM
