Where are the Registry Smart Contracts?

At this current stage, all registries are on the Sepolia network.

The addresses of registry contracts can be found in the bottom-left corner of the @KRNL_xyz Platform.

Why Do We Use Smart Contracts as Registries?

The reason why we are using registry smart contracts with kOS is because we aim for the goal of being a decentralized platform where users can easily register their kernels, smart contracts, or dApp via on-chain smart contracts.

It also leads to an architectural position for kOS where the KRNL node can access and use the metadata from calling the registry smart contracts. Read more in the following section for more.

How @KRNL_xyz Node Utilizes Registries.

The following steps will occur.👇👇

1. The node receives an entry ID from the @KRNL_xyz SDK

2. The @KRNL_xyz node will get information of that entry ID from the dApp Registry

3. The fetched information from point 2 contains the smart contract ID

4. Comparing the smart contract ID in the Smart Contract Registry will give out the kernel ID(s)

5. At this point, the node will know the details of the kernel(s) from the kernel ID(s).

1. A dApp sends a request to the @KRNL_xyz node.
2. The @KRNL_xyz node sends a request to the list of predefined kernels.
3. Each kernel will be executed until all selected kernels are completed.
4. Responses from kernels will be sent back to the @KRNL_xyz node.
5. The node sends received responses to Token Authority.
6. Token Authority examines the responses and passes them back to the node.
7. The @KRNL_xyz node provides responses from Token Authority to a dApp.
8. A dApp is able to submit a transaction to a smart contract
