@00AppleBanana00@JoeHolder_@annamlulis If no one is clicking on the article, it doesn't appear on "Apple News" or other aggregate sites.
We all know Vance's position on abortion. I'm not saying that the NYT shouldn't write an article on it. I'm saying they can't for people to click on it, or force it up an algorithm.
@00AppleBanana00@JoeHolder_@annamlulis Seriously. Do you actually understand what I've said, or are you just assuming things?
His speech can be as interesting & politically relevant. It can be notable. That doesn't make it unusual. He's conservative and Catholic.
That still doesn't mean people will click on the story.
@00AppleBanana00@JoeHolder_@annamlulis Just because the VP speaks at something, doesn't mean it's going to get people reading it. "Nothing happened" means nothing of note happened.
"VP makes planned speech at annual march and doesn't say anything shocking" isn't going to get clicks.
@00AppleBanana00@JoeHolder_@annamlulis Here's a thought. Go to the actual news site. Not an aggregate.
An aggregate is only going to show you the articles that get high click-through. And the March for Life, isn't getting high amounts of clicks. It's an annual event, and nothing happened.
@CaityJaneO@AFStreamWatch He also sidestepped to his left (as the agent who disarmed Pretti turned) to ensure his first shot didn't go through Pretti into one of the agents hold him down. And continued to move & fire downward until another agent was out of the way, at which point he & another unloaded.
@Nigar88362338 @VahagAleksanyan There is plenty of archaeological evidence this map is accurate..
Denying the history of the region doesn't help the Azeri people. Both groups have strong ties to the land. Both people just need to stop being pawns to the likes of Russia and Turkey, and let go of their hatred.
@The_OnionBro@Hey_ALF@Variety True, however, the bulk of a films profit comes from it's release in theatres - which aren't showing anything right now. They're trying to recoup the cost of filming.
@mshalk Important to remember both the American founders and the Nazis used Ancient Rome and its symbols as a basis for their own rules, symbols and legitimacy.
It's also why you the the fasces in the House of Representatives.
@selfdeclaredref@RazSimone ... I thought guns were bad.
And why, I say again, WHY did you give that kid a gun when he clearly has no idea what he's doing?
@jam_Omni I can give it a try. My hieroglyphics is rusty. I studied ancient Egypt in university for my Archaeology degree and spent time in Egypt for field school. I had a scholarship for an MA, but gave it up when my fiancee (now wife) became chronically ill, to care for her.
@jam_Omni This is twitter. I'm not writing an essay for you, when you can simply read the research yourself. I've given you the source, and explained as best I can given the character limit of this medium.
@jam_Omni Which portion? The upper or the lower?
The upper section relates to bronze work. The lower is about the manufacturing and transportation of brick.
(This image is from the Tomb of Rekhmire - sadly, not related to the pyramids.)
@jam_Omni Ok, now your being just stubborn. Just because you see something else, doesn't make it true. We have context with the image, and TEXT. No image was considered finished without text. It made it alive. The very word for draw and write in ancient Egyptian is the same: "sesh"
@jam_Omni I never said they didn't use them for labor. They were used for a great deal of labor.
I stated they weren't used for the pyramids specifically.
@jam_Omni There is no appeal to authority. Read Tallet and his work with the papyrus. Or any other Egyptologist.
Why are you so adamant to disbelieve the experts in this field? I've given you plenty of evidence and you've given nothing.
