This is where sleep tracking becomes far more interesting. Most wearables estimate sleep from movement and heart rate, but this looks closer to what sleep is actually doing inside the brain.

If validated at scale, tracking brain water dynamics could shift sleep tech from sleep score to early brain health insight.

The key is using it to improve habits, not create more anxiety. Regular sleep, less alcohol, less late caffeine, better metabolic health and protecting deep sleep.

Completely agree. More care in the community is the right direction, but it only works if the services already in the community are properly resourced.
General practice needs investment, people and premises. Community pharmacy is facing the same issue. Pharmacies are accessible and trusted, but you can’t keep adding clinical responsibility without the workforce, funding, IT access and space to deliver it safely.
Care closer to home needs capacity closer to home.

The weight-loss "pill" is all over the timeline this week, and half of what I'm reading about it is wrong.

And even the real thing isn't magic. It's licensed alongside diet and activity, not instead of them.

The drug can quieten the noise around food — but the habits underneath are still the work. Take those away and the weight tends to find its way back.
