I got filtered at the infamous Hargon's Cave on the NES and never finished it, so this was cathartic for me. Maybe I'll go back and finish up that unfinished business... assuming my cart's battery hasn't died

Wow. I was completely blown away by the HD2D remake of Dragon Quest II. It was like a totally different game than the original in all the best ways possible. Truly the best RPG series ever

Also, that extended ending, man. Just beautiful 🥹

And now we add Dragon Quest I HD-2D to the list. Still one of my all-time favorites, and I loved all the new story additions they added for returning players. Just magnificent #DragonQuest

This was some of the most addictive fun I've ever had in Pokemon, and it quite literally aided in my healing process both physically and mentally. My elbow is still quite roughed up (probably another few months to go), but I'm definitely on the other side of it thanks to Pokemon

Last summer, I had a really bad fall that messed up my elbow so badly I could barely feel my hand for months. As a way to distract myself from the pain, I started to 100% the Pokedex in Pokemon Emerald.

Got a nice deal on a handful of loose Pokemon GBA carts including Emerald, which is the one I've *always* wanted to play

It was particularly in rough shape, but with the help of Etsy, one brand new reproduction label, box and manual—and a fresh battery—it's 2004 again!!

After bouncing between FireRed and falling down some YouTube rabbit-holes for egg breeding, I ended up Shiny hunting the entire 'Dex (except Celebi)

nabbed every single Legendary from both these games with the help of the Event Distribution card and a whooole lotta trading

also, for a game that was parodying the goofy look of said Zelda CD-i games, some of the backgrounds were just plain beautiful

First game of 2026 done! Spent New Years Day playing @ArzetteGame and ended up 100%ing it because I loved it so much.

Pretty freaking rad they managed to track down the Zelda CD-i actors for some cameo appearances. Bring on that sequel!!
