Sister Dilshad Bano is diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). GBS is a rare but serious autoimmune disorder that affects the peripheral nervous system, causing paralysis.

She was admitted yesterday to the Sigma Hospital in Mumbai. She is unable to move her body or limbs. The doctors advised Dilshad to undergo plasmapheresis, a procedure in which her blood plasma would be removed, filtered, and replaced with a healthy donor plasma to remove harmful antibodies.

She needs urgent medical attention which costs Rs. 2,00,000 for the treatment. Her family is worried about the cost which is beyond their means.
