National Information Officer for UNIC, @Ndarite , spoke on the genesis of #MandelaDay and the 2026 theme. He emphasized the need for participants to make every day a Mandela Day by dedicating 67 minutes of their time to free service for humanity honoring the 67 years Madiba.

Today at the National Institute for Vocational Trainers & National Dev’t in Yaoundé, UNIC joined the South African High Commission and Let’s Build Africa to celebrate #NelsonMandela’s legacy.

La semaine dernière en mission à Foumban, le Coordonnateur Résident @IssaSanogoUN a rencontré à nouveau le Sultan pour discuter des résolutions de l’atelier de consultation. Sur invitation du Sultan, il a participé à la prière à la Mosquée et assisté à la parade en son honneur.

Last week on mission in Foumban, the UN Resident Coordinator @IssaSanogoUN paid a courtesy visit to His Majesty, the Sultan of Bamoun, to exchange on UN Cameroon activities especially on the localization of the #SDGs & highlight the consultation workshop with local partners.
