Accept and Adapt. It's gonna rain the next several days so there'll be no big grass rolls. Do I pout about this?
No. I accept it and find other places to rub out loose hair. Like a pile of clean, folded laundry. Or the human bed as soon as the sheets get changed. Sure, it doesn't feel as good as grass, but it lets me share some of my luxurious coat with the human. And almost all humans have a distinct lack of fur.

Why waste feel good moments being miserable when you can use that time figuring out other ways to be happy. Us dogs are great at accepting and adapting. It's definitely something the humans should try to get better at.

It’s harvest season now. I don’t know if you know this, but Ukrainians traditionally make a Didukh from the last sheaves of the harvest.

Didukh is much more than a beautiful decoration. It is one of Ukraine’s oldest symbols, representing prosperity, abundance, gratitude for the harvest, and the memory of our ancestors.
It is kept until Christmas and ceremonially brought into the home on Christmas Eve as a symbol of life, hard work, and the connection between generations🇺🇦

My video fluoroscopy results are back. My swallowing function remains severely impaired with no clinical improvement. I remain at very high risk of aspiration which could result in severe aspiration pneumonia and be life-ending. Oral intake is no longer safe and cannot be compensated for by diet modification or swallowing strategies. 6 months of photobiomodulation has made no impact. That's the reality. Not the one I wanted, but the one I have. I can't change the report but I can choose how I respond to it. I'll accept what I can't change, keep fighting where I can, and carry on.

Absolutely disgusted by how we were treated at @TravelodgeUK London City Airport. Staff repeatedly refused to allow my registered @HearingDogs into the restaurant and insisted assistance dogs were “not allowed” even after we explained the law.

@BDRRescue out of Florida has now removed all 1,000 dogs it purchased from the breeding and research facility.
