Kidnapp!ngs in Ogun: Bag used to deliver ransom found in Seriki Fulani’s kitchen
•Suspect says ‘I knew my son was a k!dnapper, but I thought he had stopped’
ABDULLAI Muhammadu, the 67-year-old Seriki Fulani and leader of the Fulani community in Ijebu Ode, who was arrested alongside his eldest child by the police in Ogun State for recent kidnapp!ngs around communities in the Ijebu area, has pleaded innocence, but one of the bags with which ransom was delivered was recovered in his kitchen.
He, however, admitted that he was aware that one of his sons, Bala Muhammadu, is into kidnapp!ng, but that he felt that he had turned a new leaf.
#ME:
I still remember the story of Alhaji Adamu Abache in Ido Ekiti, Ekiti State. He was the Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Ekiti State and was also honoured with chieftaincy titles before he was arrested for kidnapp!ng.
Before his arrest in 2022, his son had murd*red a pregnant woman in Orin Ekiti Farm Settlement and he protected the son until Fayose, who was governor then threatened to send him out of Ekiti if he failed to produce his criminal son within one week. In three days, he produced the son.
If these k!dnappings must stop in Yorubaland, all these Fulani Leaders must be checked. Many of them are the Baba Isale of k!dnappers.
“He is being blamed for the problems he inherited”.
Are you a fool? Did they force him to come and inherit the problems??????? Are you sick in the head?
Surprisingly, Nigerian celebrities from the Southwest have gone mute over the kidnap, killings and beheadings of their people by terrorists, so as not to offend their boyfriends in the government.
Very strange people.
The saddest thing about youth unemployment is that many young people did exactly what society told them to do: study, qualify, work hard. Yet opportunities remain out of reach.
Everybody screaming good times , now I think 12.5kg is now 18k , if you allow BAT win next year , by 2029, 18k will be ‘good times’ too , save this tweet .
Get your PVC and vote him out !!
Nigeria politicians/business men, always like to quote Naira to make it look like they started poor. Even Dangote was said to start “humble” at N500k lmao.
In 1980 official FX rate ₦1 = $1.80
So ₦20,000 × $1.80 = $36,000
At a rough black-market rate of about ₦0.90 per $1
That is ₦20,000 = $22,000
So depending on which rate you use, ₦20,000 in 1980 could have been worth somewhere around $22,000–$36,000 USD.
He had access to that much money. There is nothing like humble beginnings here. That was real money. If you give someone 20k dollars today too they would’ve built a successful business too.
