Exactly. £125m comes with expectations, not sympathy. Isak looked completely overwhelmed by the occasion. If Liverpool fans were already unsure about him, that performance definitely didn’t help his case. Football no be therapy session. 😂
Alexander Isak's Newcastle return was full of vitriol and vicious noise - the £125m man looked paralysed by pressure in performance that will not have endeared him to ambivalent Liverpool fans, writes CRAIG HOPE https://t.co/l11LFlhms2
@zafarmirzo Humanity has the capacity to do amazing things, but greed, corruption and selfish interests dey always enter the equation. The real test is not whether we can explore the universe, but whether we can use what we discover to genuinely improve human life.
I agree, but make we no over-romanticize humanity. 😂 Faith in humanity should include faith that we can build a better world, not just faith that humans are naturally good. Give some people power and resources, and you’ll quickly understand why trust needs accountability.
@official_Gegeh Money no automatically make a man a good husband, but let’s stop pretending financial stability doesn’t influence marriage decisions. In Nigeria, where survival itself is expensive, “I love him” and “this man can provide” are often having the same conversation. 😭
This one go pain people, but there’s some truth in it. Poverty can make money look like character. A man has a house, car and steady income, and suddenly every red flag becomes he will change. 😂
@DanielRegha Na Nigeria we dey, where church fit collect millions every Sunday but once you mention tax, everybody suddenly remembers “render unto Caesar.” 😂 If the institution is generating serious income, transparency and fair taxation shouldn’t be a controversial conversation.
Honestly, I agree. If a church is operating like a multimillion-naira institution, collecting tithes, offerings and donations at that scale, there should be proper financial accountability. Nobody should be above taxation simply because the money enters through an altar.
Churches should pay income tax on all tithes, offerings, and donations they receive. They make lots of money, and should be taxed like every other establishment or institution.
FPL managers already celebrating like the points have been added 😭 Palmer, João Pedro and Rogers still to play… please, football gods, let this haul be filthy. 🤲🏾📈
@Munalozy Airtel ODU no be just router again, na indoor survival equipment for me. 😂
At this point, staying indoors is the only investment with guaranteed returns. locked in kpa
Sometimes the only thing standing between you and the life you want is the version of yourself you refuse to outgrow.
Free your mind first. Everything else follows.
@simonsquibb Doing it publicly makes little sense. You don’t ask someone to pitch a dream before establishing the capital range.
First tell me how much you’re actually willing to put forward. Then I’ll know what kind of business that capital can realistically support.
