I used to make flash games under the name Undefined. Since then I got a real job and now I'm software engineer who can actually write code that works sometimes.
For anyone interested in seeing what I've been working on lately, I'm running a limited early playtest over on my discord in order to get some early stage feedback and balancing metrics!

A total of 99 fleet ships in the game so far, each with an interesting improvement or change in the game, only the best spaceships are made out of wood and hay!
@DeRiften The game I'm working on now is an experiment for me, I think it's a really good game, but I'm already thinking of a modern Legends game, with the tech available today I'd actually be able to make what I originally envisioned rather than what I could manage with flash.
@DeRiften Unfortunately the game pack bugs are taking a back seat at the minute, it's really impractical to fix old flash game bugs, there's no IDE support and they're really held together with a wing and a prayer. What I will say though is I want to revisit those games soon.
@BossDoor5 Unfortunely not, the old music was licensed so long ago now. For the web release the music is fairly simple connecting loops right now.
The web release will be a proof of concept, if it lands well the mobile/premium release will have commissioned art/audio.
Long time without posting, I had to put the game on hold for a while, I've been pretty busy on stuff lately though, things are really picking up now!
I took some time to decide on direction, plan and got stuck in.
Replacing a lot of my window UIs to make things look a little more friendly - And so that I have a break from adding ships.
They may well require another pass once I decide on what platform I'm going to target; a lot of these little buttons won't work well on mobile.
Work continues! - Things have started to slow down now as I have to deal with the slow drawn out process of design and balance of tools and fleet ships
The plan is to have about 80 possible ships in the fleet and about 30-40 tools for each board type.
I know it's been somewhat quiet since the game pack release... It's because I'm busy lately!
Still a long way from a playable game - But I'm confident it's going to be finished now, so I can start giving a few teasers. It's a break away from the games I used to make.
@indiegameiacs I'll show you my 22 games!
I recently released a game pack containing updated versions of all the games I produced in 2008, when Flash games were all the rage.

The nicest part is that I didn't intend to actually make anything from it, but re-visiting my old games has given me the itch to get back into game dev, and I've decided that every cent it earns is going to be spent on the development of something new. π
Undefined Game Pack hit 200 sales today. I know it's not a huge number, but it's a much larger one than I expected. Every single review has been positive, and the return rate is 4%. I'm more than happy with that!

@DeRiften I was given permission to use the assets about 18 years ago. That was 2 companies ago, I think, so unless the new management ask me to remove it for some reason I don't see an issue including it. I just never really considered it an "Undefined" game, but I like to please!
I managed to track down the source for this old classic so will be adding it to the game pack ( https://t.co/0ufFgbi122 )
This one was created almost 20 years ago, which makes me feel REALLY old and had to be updated to Actionscript 2 just to make it run in the game pack client.
