With Dan Brouwer’s death, we have lost not only a brilliant queer rhetorician and social movement scholar but more poignantly a profoundly kind and gentle soul. @queercritic and I reminisced today that even Dan’s snark was kind. We could mourn him well by modeling his kindness.
