I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel:
"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal;
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,
Since God is marching on."
GLORY, GLORY, HALLELUJAH
@OliLondonTV I wonder if she's ever once considered the possibility that she invites personal misfortune by speaking her hateful wish for "a third". Karma sure does love to suckerpunch folks like her.
If this were to actually happen, I think she'd be rarely seen outside the voting chamber (where she would faithfully fulfill her duty to do as she is told Lindsey would wish) and continually guided away from exposure to any actual Senatorial roughhousing. Meanwhile we in SC could concentrate on a meaningful choice of November nominee and getting him/her to DC in 2027.
@KellyLMcCarty@fitsnews@LindseyGrahamSC@henrymcmaster Oddly enough, I rather like that idea. There's precedent, though usually it's a spouse, not a sister, filling in. I'm sure Darline would vote exactly as she is told her beloved brother would have wanted, and it's only for six months anyway.
@Notwokenow You're right, Nikki is a no go. However, we don't want Nancy or Henry Jr for the U.S. Senate seat vacancy either. Their talents are better applied elsewhere. I, for one, hope solid conservative Ralph Norman runs; he'd get my vote.
@fitsnews@RalphNorman@LindseyGrahamSC I voted for Ralph in the recent SC primaries and would certainly love to see him as the R nominee for our late Senator's unexpectedly vacant seat.
@Real_Ames I'm in SC too. My thoughts? No. No to Nikki, no to Nancy, no to McMaster Jr., my own HELL NO to Trey, an eye-rolled "ya kidding me?" to Pam...
Other than that, my mind is open 😅
@data_republican I think blithely disengaging from Grok when I'm done with a subject is fun!
Although, to be fair, I mastered the art of turning off manipulative sycophants pretty early in life.
@StephenM You also are known and respected as a great American warrior. I am sorry for the loss you and the entire Trump Administration have suffered. May God bring forth something good from this unexpected tragic event, and strengthen you all in trust and faith.
@CynicalPublius@santafelife It's of course up to the family, but (given all the crazy theories bound to continue plaguing them otherwise) perhaps their peace with this tragedy will be aided by an autopsy to determine and confirm actual cause of death.
