RWBY lorekeeper, critic and Adam poster. I mainly talk about RWBY and nutty takes from it's wild fandom on here. I'm not always active so expect periodic posts.
I feel that everyone should take some time to actually watch this video all the way through, as it's really messed up to hear what these sisters had to go through from this cancerous joke we call a fandom. To Twiins & JC, I hope you both are well.

Seeing the Rwby fandom quickly go from praising Miles for "slamming a proshipper" (as they put it), to getting pissed at him for saying he shipped V3 Qrow and Winter is cathartic and hilarious. #RWBY
@tryannick It's actually the textbook definition of damage control, because it's him seeing the negative effects of what he said and making a response video to calm the people he hurt down.
Ironwood's death confirmation is not the first thing I wanted to see after my RWBY content/fandom break.
So Miles KNEW he was talking to Ironwood fans that wanted some comforting words, yet he still chose to be disrespectful. "Rest in pieces."
Ok fuck you too Miles.
#Ironwood
@tryannick You probably didn't see the original Cameo video, but an Ironwood fan asked Miles for some comforting words, instead he disrespected ironwood's character and then said he was "resting in pieces." This is what I mean by damage control outside of the show.
“The path to hell can sometimes be paved with good intentions. So James Ironwood, I hope you can rest in peace”
Yeah, I hope you can rest in peace... while you're burning in hell. 🤣
I know he didn't mean it that way but it's still funny.
Honestly at this point it's pretty likely Crwby will say Yang is a lesbian JUST because the fandom really wants her to be.
But here's a reminder that by V2 they didn't decide on making any of the Rwby characters LGTBQ. This would also apply to Coco.

Miles always talks about the Rwby characters like they make their own decisions outside of what is written for them. You & the other writers are responsible for "dropping the ball on execution." "Maybe don't do a genocide." How about you don't warp your established characters?
@ActorsCentralVA Like I said, it could have worked if the show made it clear that that's what they were going for. But Watts doesn't even bring up how she was at Beacon, and once Cinder gets to the portal vault they act as if she had never teamed up with anyone before. So comes off as a retcon.
If you told me at the end of V7 that the thing Salem would be most remembered for doing in V8 is Naruto running, I wouldn't believe you. They really had their main villian pull up dramatically just to be a meme.

What's funny is this could have worked if they brought up her regression in-show. Salem and Watts could have told her that she wasn't as clear minded and calculating as she USED to be. But instead they just retconned her character and hoped no one would remember how she was V1-3.
V5 is when they first swapped her calculating mindset for one of brute force, and it's amazing how her conversation with Salem is the complete opposite of the one she had with Mercury in V3. Cinder knew that it wasn't all about force, and she knew the usefulness of others.
