463 international buyers came to Miami looking for the best American agriculture has to offer! ๐บ๐ธ
I visited the Americas Food & Beverage Show to meet with producers from across the country who are connecting directly with foreign buyers, building new relationships, and opening new markets for American agricultural products.
America produces the best, and the world wants more of it! ๐
๐ Secretary Rollins lays out the progress we have achieved in the past two years ๐๐ผ
The data clearly shows that American farmers and ranchers are winning more and more each day in the global marketplace.
๐๐บ๐ธ American agriculture is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
When we walked in the door, we inherited a nearly $50 BILLION agricultural trade deficit and zero new trade deals.
18 months later:
๐ 20 new trade deals
๐ Deficit cut nearly in half to $29B
๐ Record farm exports on track
๐พ New markets opening across the Middle East, Southeast Asia & Japan
@POTUS is putting American farmers and ranchers FIRST โ He has opened new markets and created more opportunities to sell the best products in the world.
Weโre not done yet. ๐บ๐ธ
When I led a U.S. delegation to Venezuela following the recent earthquakes, I saw firsthand the opportunities ahead.
@USDA is putting our trade, financing, technical assistance and food security tools to workโhelping meet critical needs while building new opportunities for American farmers and ranchers.
A healthy Venezuela is good for the entire Western Hemisphere ๐บ๐ธ ๐ป๐ช๐พ

Thank you, Australia! ๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ๐บ
Our U.S. delegation, comprised of 60 businesses, 11 state departments of agriculture, and 15 ag cooperators, started strong! Together we:
๐บ๐ธ Opened the USA Pavilion at Fine Food Australia โ where we are honored to serve as the show's first-ever Country Partner, giving 39 U.S. companies a platform to showcase high-quality American ag products.
๐ค Connected U.S. businesses to Australian and New Zealand importers and showcased 75 market-opening conversations on day one alone.
๐ฝ Met with Australian biofuel leaders to expand export opportunities for U.S. ag and support Australiaโs growing biofuels sector.
๐ Hosted Australian buyers and partners for a USDA tailgate ahead of the NFLโs first-ever game in Australia โ featuring American dairy, pork, wine, spirits, and hops.
Iโm headed home, but the mission continues โ strengthening cooperation, expanding market access, and creating long-term wins for U.S. agriculture across the Pacific. ๐บ๐ธ๐
America is taking center stage at Fine Food Australia! ๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ๐บ
Weโre here showcasing the best of American food and agriculture as we create new opportunities for U.S. producers.

๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝJoined the U.S. Soybean Export Council in working to diversify and expand commercial opportunities for American soybeans overseas.
Looking forward to more productivity for U.S. agriculture in Australia! ๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ๐บ
Thank you, New Zealand for an excellent mission! ๐ณ๐ฟ๐บ๐ธ
Our final stops included:

Day 1 in New Zealand is a wrap! ๐ณ๐ฟ๐บ๐ธ
We kicked off with U.S. industry groups, local importers, and Ambassador Novelly to strengthen our partnership, boost market access, and spotlight Octoberโs expansion of our GSMโ102 credit guarantees to 15 Pacific Island nations.
At Parliament, we pressed key priorities with Associate Ministers Patterson and Butterick, Speaker Brownlee, and Trade Minister McClay:
๐ซ Open the door for U.S. blueberries
๐ Ensure scienceโbased standards for U.S. pork
โ๏ธ Cut red tape for organic exporters
Follow our agricultural diplomacy tour across New Zealand! ๐
The world wants what American farmers and ranchers produce! ๐๐บ๐ธ
Todayโs @USDA ag outlook is more proof that opening markets, knocking down barriers, and fighting for fair trade delivers results. ๐ช๐ผ
Higher exports, a shrinking trade deficit, and more opportunities for producers across rural America. ๐บ๐ธ๐พ
๐จ AMERICAN AGRICULTURE IS BACK ON OFFENSE! ๐บ๐ธ๐
Todayโs USDA trade outlook projects Fiscal Year 2027 will be the SECOND-GREATEST YEAR EVER for US agricultural exports!
Just 18 months ago, we inherited a $50 BILLION projected agricultural trade deficit after the previous administration failed to secure a single new trade deal.
Now, under @POTUS, American agriculture is once again competing around the world:
โฌ๏ธ American agricultural exports are projected to RISE by $7.3 BILLION to $186.5 BILLION!
โฌ๏ธ We are also projected to cut the forecasted $50 BILLION agricultural trade deficit we inherited by 51%!
By opening new markets and fighting for fair trade, weโre proving once again that American farmers, ranchers, and producers can compete (and WIN!) anywhere in the world!
Thank you, President Trump.

๐จ HUGE WIN: U.S. ethanol is now powering vehicles across Guatemala! ๐บ๐ธ๐ฌ๐น
Earlier this year, I led a TRUMP Mission to Guatemala and sat down with President Arevalo. We locked in a true WIN-WIN: American biofuels strengthening both nations. ๐ฝโฝ๐พ
Today, results delivered. Guatemalaโs just launched E10 blends in regular gasolineโcreating fresh demand for U.S. ethanol and real opportunities for American corn growers and biofuel producers.
This is how we fight for rural Americaโฆand win worldwide. ๐๐ช
I visited the Corn Palace today, and itโs easy to see why my home state of South Dakota punches above its weight.
Itโs an agricultural powerhouse in corn, soybean, beef, dairy and ethanol production. ๐ฝ๐ฑ๐ฅฉ๐ฅโฝ๏ธ
At Dakotafest, I spoke with the farmers driving that success about how @USDA is opening new markets for their products.
Thanks to @GovLarryRhoden and @SD_DANR Secretary Roberts for their partnership in bringing South Dakota agriculture to the world. ๐
Nothing captures the strength of American agriculture quite like the Iowa State Fair! My visit this year included:
๐ Presenting the Good Farm Neighbor Award to Ernie and Paula alongside Secretary @MikeNaigIA
๐ Hosting a listening session with farmers and ranchers who help feed, fuel, and clothe the world
๐ Telling the story of American agriculture to a delegation of foreign media from seven countries
Thank you to Stu Swanson and @iowa_corn for hosting me!
