I visited the Americas Food & Beverage Show to meet with producers from across the country who are connecting directly with foreign buyers, building new relationships, and opening new markets for American agricultural products.

America produces the best, and the world wants more of it! 🌎

🌾 New markets opening across the Middle East, Southeast Asia & Japan

Our U.S. delegation, comprised of 60 businesses, 11 state departments of agriculture, and 15 ag cooperators, started strong! Together we:

🇺🇸 Opened the USA Pavilion at Fine Food Australia — where we are honored to serve as the show's first-ever Country Partner, giving 39 U.S. companies a platform to showcase high-quality American ag products.

🤝 Connected U.S. businesses to Australian and New Zealand importers and showcased 75 market-opening conversations on day one alone.

🌽 Met with Australian biofuel leaders to expand export opportunities for U.S. ag and support Australia’s growing biofuels sector.

🏈 Hosted Australian buyers and partners for a USDA tailgate ahead of the NFL’s first-ever game in Australia — featuring American dairy, pork, wine, spirits, and hops.

I’m headed home, but the mission continues — strengthening cooperation, expanding market access, and creating long-term wins for U.S. agriculture across the Pacific. 🇺🇸🌎

We kicked off our agribusiness trade mission to Australia and:

🤝 Met with the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to maintain our strong agricultural trade relationship. Minister Collins and I also exchanged American and Australian football jerseys!

🍷🥃 Showcased the quality and versatility of California wines and U.S. bourbon to Australian food and beverage influencers

🐖 Visited a local Costco with the U.S. Meat Export Federation where high-quality American pork is now on the shelves.

���Joined the U.S. Soybean Export Council in working to diversify and expand commercial opportunities for American soybeans overseas.

🍇 Hosting a table grape promotion event with the California Table Grape Commission to allow New Zealand consumers to taste U.S. table grapes.

🫐🐖 Working to bring more market access for U.S. blueberries and pork products to New Zealand.

We kicked off with U.S. industry groups, local importers, and Ambassador Novelly to strengthen our partnership, boost market access, and spotlight October’s expansion of our GSM‑102 credit guarantees to 15 Pacific Island nations.

At Parliament, we pressed key priorities with Associate Ministers Patterson and Butterick, Speaker Brownlee, and Trade Minister McClay:

Today’s USDA trade outlook projects Fiscal Year 2027 will be the SECOND-GREATEST YEAR EVER for US agricultural exports!

Just 18 months ago, we inherited a $50 BILLION projected agricultural trade deficit after the previous administration failed to secure a single new trade deal.

Now, under @POTUS, American agriculture is once again competing around the world:
⬆️ American agricultural exports are projected to RISE by $7.3 BILLION to $186.5 BILLION!
⬇️ We are also projected to cut the forecasted $50 BILLION agricultural trade deficit we inherited by 51%!

By opening new markets and fighting for fair trade, we’re proving once again that American farmers, ranchers, and producers can compete (and WIN!) anywhere in the world!

🚨 HUGE WIN: U.S. ethanol is now powering vehicles across Guatemala! 🇺🇸🇬🇹

Earlier this year, I led a TRUMP Mission to Guatemala and sat down with President Arevalo. We locked in a true WIN-WIN: American biofuels strengthening both nations. 🌽⛽🌾

Today, results delivered. Guatemala’s just launched E10 blends in regular gasoline—creating fresh demand for U.S. ethanol and real opportunities for American corn growers and biofuel producers.

I visited the Corn Palace today, and it’s easy to see why my home state of South Dakota punches above its weight.

It’s an agricultural powerhouse in corn, soybean, beef, dairy and ethanol production. 🌽🌱🥩🥛⛽️

At Dakotafest, I spoke with the farmers driving that success about how @USDA is opening new markets for their products.
