A small side quest the past few months: Using my blacksmithing and woodworking to make a Roman Crossbow from scratch!

All but the prod, were made completely from scratch with raw materials, and I am EXTREMELY happy with the result!

Had the opportunity to speak at the Slush Conference in Helsinki late last month, then decided to backpack about 300 miles north of the Arctic Circle to as far north as I could reach on land.

It was an incredible journey, and even got to see a feeding frenzy of orcas!
