When younger, I wanted to be an author. Now, I think writing is better as a hobby and relaxation. It's my safe place, but let's face it, I love programming too and it's more realistic career path. I still immensely admire those who can earn their living as artists.

@pairofclaws I don't get this attitude. Gatekeeping, I guess, but still. I have read, and enjoyed immensely of some self published work. There are literal gems out there.

It's a trans awareness week. Still, there are those who can't or don't want to be openly out. No one should be forced to be out before they're ready. If a person doesn't tell you they're trans, it isn't your business. Your curiosity doesn't justify disrespecting their privacy.
