[Dementia Centre @dementiacentre]

Tip for a dementia friendly garden: Having a space outdoors where someone can sit & enjoy the sun on their face is important, especially if they fatigue easily, or like to be outside for long periods. The seat should be robust, with arms to assist with body positioning & rising.

[Dementia Friends @DementiaFriends]

Being a Dementia Friend means being there for everyone affected by dementia. Those caring for people living with dementia may experience loneliness due to increased social isolation and stress. A quick call or text letting someone know you’re there for them can go a long way.

[Universal Care @Universalcareuk]

Most families want the security of knowing that their loved ones are cared for. Live-in home care, where they remain within familiar surroundings, could be the better option for people with #dementia.
