During his spiritual journey, Siddharoodha Swamy once stopped at a satram (a charitable place that serves food) for a meal. After eating, he got up quietly to leave.

One of the managers there spoke to him rudely and said, “If you don’t pick up your leaf plate, will your father come and do it for you?”

Swamy calmly replied, “If my Father wishes it to be done, then yes, He will come for this son.”

Within moments, a majestic yogi appeared. He had a powerful presence, matted hair (jata), a rudraksha mala around his neck, and sacred ash (bhasma) covering his body. He walked over and picked up the leaf plate.

Soon after, a graceful lady dressed in a silk saree and adorned with gold ornaments came to Swamy, washed his hands, and gently cleaned his mouth with the end of her saree.

Before anyone could fully understand what was happening, Siddharoodha Swamy and the divine couple had disappeared.

The people then realized that the yogi and the lady were none other than Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati themselves.

A Belagavi-Dharwad-Hubballi Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor is needed to offer an efficient transport and boost the economy of the region. Possible extensions to this route include: Hubballi-Haveri, Hubballi-Gadag and Haveri-Davanagere. Expanded public bus network can act as good feeder network within the cities. Currently, all five RRTS corridors proposed by Govt. of Karnataka are unsustainably around Bengaluru.
