I'm more curious as to how many games were lost because teams didn't do this. This whole not score and run out the clock thing is fairly new to me, like not something they did 10-20 years ago. I've been watching for 30+ years. (Maybe I'm wrong)
It's smart, but I swear teams just used to just score, so I'm curious how many times that caused to lose/opponent got ball back when clock could have been run out. 🤔
