@JayPosnerSD I think the MLB believes "people will pay" no matter the price. I'm also guessing that some LA fans had to choose: Do we wait for the World Series or spend now for the NLCS? Some fans can afford one, but not both.

[Unlucky Don @UnluckyDon]

@BNightengale That's partly because of the ticket cost and the fact that most LA fans figured to save their money for the World Series.

@jedirich_ No matter how hip the Hard Rock on Paradise was, it was still off the Strip. The first years and "Rehab" era, it rocked. But it slowly lost patrons to the Strip. If things are going bad on Strip, you can walk to the next casino. Can't do that at Virgin/HR. Ditto the Palms, Rio.

@SinBinVegas To quote Don Ohlmeyer, the late ABC sports TV producer, “the answer to all your questions is money.”

@KNBR Timmy gave up a double in the first (first ATL hitter) and then one about the 5th or 6th. Otherwise, he was just about unhittable. He popped out of dugout in ninth to a huge roar with Wilson in pen. It remains the most dominant pitched game I’ve ever seen in person. Good times.

@NBCSGiants @PavlovicNBCS I think this team as built is a year or two from being two years away. The core of Devers, Eldridge, Adames and Chapman seems solid. The OF and bullpen are in shambles. If the fix is four years away, only Devers and Eldridge will be around to experience it. Meanwhile, in LA …
