Every Friday in class I lead my students in an #Examen. It is an #ignatian#meditation#prayer that engages the #imagination while reflecting back on the moments of our week that we’re filled with consolation and desolation.
Merely the use of the contraction “let us” sets #2 apart. I think most of us strive to be Leader #2 but the pressures and urgency of work and demands has us defaulting to Leader #1. #authenticleadership takes time and most of us have too few of it.

Insecurity drives us to pretend we have the answers. Confident humility gives us the courage to ask questions.
