@Yandere_Husband If they do this, maybe OSRS should do one aswell. I'd be interested in going to a new economy osrs without the tarnish of bots, mod north recently stated they are aiming to get bots down to 1%.. why not re-release a new osrs with new economy?

So at the moment, ironmen (cannot trade) self sustaining accounts can atleast group with all account types,

If all new players are ignited they cannot group with Vetern or iron accounts. So if u go 3-5 years you may not be able to find a team

@LawRuneLarry @YourMuthr @RuneScape I've been playing osrs since 2015/16, we need a fresh economy option or a massive item sink option. Riddled with bots. Don't shy away the fact Bond's only come into the game through MTX. probably the worst part of mtx is you can still buy wealth through bonds.

They are already monetising the hell out of osrs. NEw game modes requiring new accounts/membership. Cash grabbing the game. HC worlds.. huge cash grab.

@thunderroadoot @PoopcelGroypers They are starting to move away from monetising RS3 and impacting us here in osrs.

If you don't see this with HC worlds, then its too late. new account, new members 14.99/account. They are doing the same antics to us in osrs as they did to rs3

If OSRS's can't see HC worlds are a money grab.. then it's too late.

@Waydots Also OSRS tbh, they are milking OSRS for everything with HC worlds. new accounts, 14.99/account. Even if osrs'ers don't see it, this is how it starts. You're their cash cow now.
Give it a few years and OSRS reignited will be a thing, new economy resetting 12 years

Honestly, what were they thinking by not polling.

To OSRS players out there, i havnt played since 2017 and i'l be honest, looking at runefest they are cash grabbing the hell out of OSRS with HC worlds. 14.99 per new account

@SpvJack Tbh there is alot less supply than there was, looking at resources majority are higher than pre eoc. take
willow logs 949 each, 16gp pre eoc,
gold bars 2200each, 98gp pre eoc
The bot problem isnt as heavy in RS3 however when you look at OSRS you can physically see it's impact.

A new economy, a new character start, away from the current flooded with bots economy. they'll call it reignited OSRS - Anything for monetising right ;)

@6GSKULL imagine a fresh economy without bots. Once the focus is away and rs3 is no longer relevant, they'll monetise osrs as much as they can. I'm already not happy with the mining and smithing rework.. non depletable resources, only favours bots

@6GSKULL give it a couple of years and it will come to osrs, there is already hc mode coming.
It will be like this:
''you have suffered with the blight of bots for years' - here is a new economy, a new account, unable to interact with the current osrs players.'
