THE KING OF MOISTURIZERS-
BEEF TALLOW
The use of beef tallow in skincare predates recorded history. Beef tallow was prized across cultures spanning millennia due to its moisturizing properties and its similarity to sebum (skin’s natural oils).
In fact, the Latin word “sebum” translates to “tallow”.
Perfect! Now let's make an oil out of it that concentrates thousands of seeds into a teaspoon, so we can cook our food in it at hundreds of degrees Fahrenheit to really bring out the flavor (heavy metals)
People are planting sunflowers to pull heavy metals out of soil instead of digging it all up
Phytoremediation uses plants as living filters: sunflowers can move contaminants from soil or water into their roots, stalks, and leaves
Near Chernobyl, Phytotech tested sunflower rafts in pond water, where their roots drew in 2 types of contaminants
Studies also show it can accumulate metals including lead, zinc, cadmium, arsenic, and uranium, under the right conditions

Sunburn is a fat going rancid inside you, and the compound it produces has a name.
4-hydroxynonenal. An aldehyde. Measurable, published, sitting in the literature for forty years.
It does not come from nowhere. It is a breakdown product of omega-6.
Specifically linoleic acid and the arachidonic acid your body makes from it.
Linoleic acid has two double bonds. Every double bond is a weak point where oxygen gets in.
Saturated fat has none. Monounsaturated has one and it is hard to reach.
Your cell membranes are built from whatever fat you have been eating, on a turnover of roughly two years.
Ultraviolet light hits the skin and strips a hydrogen off one of those weak points.
That starts a chain reaction called lipid peroxidation, and a chain reaction does not need more light to continue. It propagates on its own.
The chain breaks the fatty acid apart. Out come 4-hydroxynonenal and malondialdehyde.
Those aldehydes cross-link proteins, damage DNA and trigger the inflammatory cascade.
The redness, the heat, the swelling, the peeling. That is the immune response to the wreckage, not the sunlight itself.
More linoleic acid in the membrane means more fuel in the fire.
Linoleic acid in American body fat ran at about 9 per cent in 1959 and reached 21 per cent by 2008.
Your grandfather worked outdoors all day in a vest and came home brown, on membranes built from lard, butter and dripping.
He was less flammable, and nobody had told him he was doing anything brave.
Four grams of omega-3 a day let volunteers take 36 per cent more UV before burning. Fish oil cut the inflammatory signal in irradiated human skin by more than 60 per cent.
Sunlight is not the accelerant. It is the ignition.
Fifty years of advice about what to spread on your skin, and not one word about what you built it out of.
@jeremy_olive_ Don't be so sure about the tallow. They're coming for that too.
Here's Cargill's version of tallow coming to a restaurant near you:
Deodorized beef fat, citric acid, BHT, dimethylpolysiloxane
@Masa_Chips@Vandy_Crisps@VacaChips@bouldercanyon@teddystallow@rosieschips
Can any of you confirm that you fry your chips in 100% Beef Tallow and not this garbage from Cargill?
When consumers hear Tallow, they're not thinking Deodorized beef fat, citric acid, Butylhydroxytoluene, and dimethylpolysiloxane
@holisticbaddie Don't be so sure about the tallow. This is what's going into every restaurant or big brand's fryers.
Don't trust anything you don't cook yourself.

Unlike cows, pigs are monogastric, so the LITERAL GARBAGE that they eat is distilled down into the meat and fat.
I won't eat pork or lard, only beef and tallow, but I do make an exception for prosciutto di parma right off the leg.
Pork
It is extremely parasitic, greasy, high in PUFA, digests slowly, and makes your aura cloudy. Not to mention when you look at a pig it often has human-like eyes….
If you think the avocado oil scandal is bad, just wait a couple years until the news about tallow hits X
Take a look at the ingredients. Anything out of place?

@RealOilRspctr We also need to keep an eye on the tallow. Tallow adulterated with silicone "anti-foaming agents" is the latest bait and switch https://t.co/KpnZm7Ks5s
Been saying this for years. You can't trust anything you don't make yourself. Not olive oil, not avocado oil -- not even the tallow.
The beef tallow in restaurant fryers is adulterated with silicone oil so it doesn't bubble over.

Its goes deeper than chips. Another study investigated bottled avocado oil, and it's just as bad:
- Most samples were rancid before the best-by date
- Three samples were essentially 100% soybean oil (two of which were sold as "extra virgin")
- Many seemed to be half avocado oil, half sunflower oil
@NoahRyanCo This is what I'm saying. ANY seed oil is going to oxidize extremely fast when they use heat and pressure to extract it in the first place.
Get plain and pure tallow, not the silicone garbage in the industrial "tallow" frying oils from Cargill.
@catholicg1rl@NoahRyanCo The point is to enrich the government and corporate conglomerates with our money while making us too sick and docile to resist it.
