Being an EG Content Creator was the experience I could ever ask for. I was told yesterday firsthand by Chris and it took pretty much everything in me to not break down in the call with him. I know how incredible all the staff who work at EG are. People who would do anything for me at a moments notice, people who truly believed in my vision of Minecraft having a chance as a competitive esport.

This is beyond heartbreaking. Gridlock (which is entirely funded by EG) will continue to run like normal until November 2nd, where after I will pay for the grandfinals out of pocket. The players and staff of Gridlock deserve the best possible product and proper closure to the project.

I have a lot of thoughts on Gridlock as well but now isn't the time, but know that anything was ever needed they would always deliver.

Without Evil Geniuses my 10k run does not happen live. They paid for the stage space at TwitchCon and I could not imagine what that even runs at. They believed in our community. The funded NRI's, the Free 4 All, and so much more.

I hope the staff are all okay. I am so sad for them. I would do anything for any of them. The fact that the reality of me being a creator who is able to still go live and make content and simply do my job like nothing is different, while hardworking and caring people lose theirs makes me quite frankly ill. I hate the current models of esports and I hope they can all find footing in something they truly love.
