One Nation has announced Bruce Whalley – known as 'Melbourne's happiest tram driver' – as their candidate for the Labor-held seat of Bundoora at the Victorian election
He is one of 26 new candidates announced by the party today, following a RedBridge poll showing them at 25%
BREAKING: Pauline Hanson just did what every real leader does, and what Anthony Albanese has never done in his entire political life.
She fronted the press. She copped it from Labor, the Liberals, Jacinta Price and the Human Rights Commission.
Then she owned it.
“I’ve always put my foot in my mouth, I’m not the most eloquent speaker” Hanson said.
“If I’ve offended people by using the word primitive, yes I will apologise for that” she added.
She continued “I regret saying that because I don’t want to upset people. That wasn’t my intention to hurt people.”
On Albanese’s late mother and public housing: “If he’s taken offence to it, well I’m sorry for that”
That’s ownership.
Then she drew the line every politician in this country is too gutless to draw:
She will not back away from the conversation Australia actually needs.
Equal treatment on a needs basis, not race. The division, the third world conditions, the failures no one in Canberra will touch.
Albanese doesn’t do this. He never has.
He gets hit and immediately finds someone else to blame.
The last government. The media.
“The far right.”
Anyone but himself.
Hanson stood there and took it.
That’s the difference between a leader and and someone like Anthony Albanese.
For the second time, Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong have voted against biological reality.
A woman is a woman. A man is a man.
They can keep denying common sense.
But Australians are watching and they'll get their say at the ballot box
Australia needs a rocket up its arse . How can any fair and reasonable person think 3 generations of one family living in govt housing over 80 years is a topic not to be discussed given the waiting list for public housing.
Jess Wilson and the VIC LNP ahead 56-44 2PP in the latest Redbridge/Accent poll.
Labor running in 3rd, behind One Nation and the LNP on primary vote 😬 #springst
Why wouldn’t there be outrage . Daniel Andrews, Jacinta Allan, Ben Carroll and every Labor MP who has sat back and watched this 12 year waste and corruption train wreck unfold should hang their heads in shame .
It is quite clear now that Albanese himself ordered $6m to go to Marrickville golf course to benefit himself.
Same with the $100m road leading to his beach shack.
How is he not in jail.
The three faces that wrecked Victoria.
Ben Carroll isn’t new. He was Jacinta Allan’s deputy and held a long list of portfolios now in shambles: roads, public transport, corrections, youth justice, education, WorkSafe and more.
Victoria is drowning in crime, potholed roads that just claimed another life, and debt heading toward $200 billion with interest compounding every day.
Where’s the missing $15 billion from Big Build rorts? Carroll was in the room for years. He doesn’t get a clean slate because he now sits in the Premier’s chair.
Victorians deserve better. Time to take out the Labor trash!
Premier Ben Carroll’s statement comes too late. An apology after a man is already dead is a disgrace. Peter Mason would still be here today if it wasn’t for this government.
Victorians have been reporting potholes, punctures and near-misses on these roads for years.
This government only seems interested when the headlines arrive, after the money has already been squandered.
With an election on 28 November, that should not be forgotten.
Not good enough.
