I now understand why David prayed, “Do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.”
Without the Holy Spirit, there is no divine direction, no truth to hold on to, and no clarity to navigate life. His presence is everything.
Take care of what God already gave you. The home, the car, your body, your peace, the little things. Because if you can’t appreciate what you have now, how can God trust you with more? Your next blessing starts with how you handle your current one.
“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” - Psalm 18:2
Solomon said in Ecclesiastes, “There’s a time to speak, and there’s a time to be silent.” That doesn't mean never speak up or never deal with conflict; maturity is knowing what time you’re in. Is this a time to speak, to be bold, to let my voice be heard, or is this a time to be silent, to walk away?
Here’s a key: you have to give yourself permission to be happy. Sometimes we’ve bought into the lie that we’re not supposed to be happy. We’ve been through too much; we’ve made too many mistakes. If we’re happy, people may not understand. Can I tell you? You’re supposed to be happy. It's okay to enjoy your life, to laugh, to smile. Happiness starts on the inside.
John's baptism was for sinners. People came to the Jordan confessing their sins and went under the water to show they were turning back to God.
Then the one man who had no sins to confess walked into the river and joined the line.
John tried to stop Him.
Why would a sinless man be baptised? The answer is the whole gospel in one scene. 🧵
People aren't just TIRED. They're grieving the lives they thought they'd be living by now while trying to survive a reality that keeps moving the finish line.
Not to sound delusional, but please pray for grace. Life isn't really about hard work. It's more about alignment, meeting the right people, grace, mercy, and favour.
i love watching people become more of who they already are. the friend who starts dressing differently. the quiet person who discovers their voice. the artist who stops asking permission. there's something sacred about witnessing somebody become less afraid of their own life.
Ruth didn’t chase Boaz. She carried herself with grace, moved with purpose, and let her character speak for itself. Boaz recognized her value and pursued her with intention.
A man of God won’t just notice you because you’re available. He’ll recognize that you’re valuable and approach you with the respect, clarity, and commitment you deserve.
Be Ruth. Let God handle Boaz.
Casarnos, tener una casita, hacer el amor todos los días, ir al mercado de la manita, viajar mucho, llegar del trabajo y bañarnos juntos, y dormir abrazaditos, eso quiero
