Thanks to Dr. Andrew Walker for a great review of ultrasound physics. The assumptions of ultrasound are violated in almost every clinical situation, and it's important to understand the artifacts created.

Drs. Heather Hurdle, @MelindaDavisYYC, @anesthesioliver and Cam Williams are reviewing 10 years of such cases - stay tuned.
