I am delighted to have had the opportunity to wear two hats at the conference “A Conversation on/with Saudi Arabian Applied Linguistics: Insights from Vision 2030”—as both an organizer and a presenter.
It was a truly rewarding experience, and I am especially grateful to have worked closely with prof @APatino_soton as part of the organizing team. I would also like to thank our esteemed session chairs, Prof. @cmm_mar ,@KBorthwick , and prof @ Ying Zheng, for their support and contribution to the success of the conference.
It was a privilege to welcome our distinguished guests, including prof. @Ali_AlHoori prof. @TrElyas , and Dr. @SHopkyns. Their insights helped enrich important conversations on Saudi Arabian applied linguistics and its connection to Vision 2030.
I am proud to contribute to academic dialogue that highlights Saudi Arabia’s growing role in applied linguistics and connects national perspectives with the wider international research community.
