[META PCs @METAPCs]

an announcement regarding our new name from our founder @zackshutt

[benjamin valdez @Up2it_1]

@dkhos @SFGiantsFans @Mets Now you made enough to buy a meal for your family. Good job! keep going and you might be able to feed them for a day.

[benjamin valdez @Up2it_1]

Now if you do this 28 days more in a row, you MIGHT be able to pay your rent/mortgage 🤣

[dara khosrowshahi @dkhos]

Day 2 good - not as good as day 1. More downtown routes w traffic and apt drop offs a pain. More fast food, lower tips. @SFGiantsFans fan tried to kill me. Maybe he knew I’m a @Mets fan 🙌. Super busy - 2:01 working from 2:02 online. And … Picked up from my first dark store.

There is a reason that there is a shortage on drivers, drivers don't get their fair share. Lyft is overcharging passengers and keeping the change drivers are lucky if they even get a small bonus of a few bucks. Now you want me to take passengers to get vaccinated?

[John Zimmer @johnzimmer]

Starting soon, anyone in America can get a free ride to their vaccine appointment. Excited that @lyft is partnering with the @WhiteHouse to do our part to get the country moving forward. https://t.co/r2DFtkmcwo

Using the modest industry calculation that gig workers spend 37% of their time ready and waiting for work, I calculated that in a 50-hour week, an Uber driver is losing a minimum of $634.29 under Prop 22 (considering min wages, OT calculations, & mileage reimbursements).

[Veena Dubal @veenadubal]

I can’t tell you how remarkable it is that all of the constant harassment I received on this site & the misinformation attacks on me in right wing media all magically stopped when UberLyftDoorDashInstacart won their Prop22. I marvel at it everyday.

[Nicole Moore @nicoemoe]

Amazing support from around the world supporting the work of @ADCUnion - go TEAM DRIVERS! Hold Uber accountable! Go 🇬🇧! #solidarity never seen you guys so happy!

[Rideshare Drivers United @_drivers_united]

Congratulations to our brothers and sisters @ADCUnion on an enormous legal victory over Uber: “Ruling fundamentally re-orders the gig economy in Britain today”

[Nicole Moore @nicoemoe]

Say it LOUD! App-based workers need full labor protections and the right to organize! @JoeBiden @KamalaHarris @_drivers_united

[Nicole Moore @nicoemoe]

Hey America! Get ready for some more billion dollar company shenanigans! The deception: completely empathetic characters who love the flexibility & extra income their app-based work provides! (Don’t tell anyone they’d do tons better with basic labor rights!) @_drivers_united

[Timothy Turer @6thboroughtim]

@johnzimmer I’ve never heard such utter bullshit coming out of your public voice of #Lyft in almost 5 years... “Join @lyft in today’s day of service” with your third world servitude rates, no prime time for Drivers during a pandemic & crap Driver App 🤔🤨🙄😷

[WendyCarrillo @wendycarrillo]

The entire country has benefited from workers risking their health amid a pandemic. I support workers organizing for health insurance, a living wage, safety standards, rest breaks, and a life with dignity. Amazon can and should do right by its workers.

[Gig Workers Collective @GigWC]

After Prop 22, GrubHub removed the default tip in California & adding a $1.50 “Driver Benefit” fee so drivers “don’t have to depend on tips.” The platform has an “optional tip” which it says is “on top of the standard Driver benefits payment.” GrubHub itself collects 37% in fees.

[California Federation of Labor Unions @CaliforniaLabor]

Here's the kicker. Not only are Californians stuck subsidizing these benefit fees after Uber's $78 billion IPO valuation -- these benefits are still 50% less than what drivers were guaranteed before Prop. 22.

California voters were duped.

[California Gig Workers Union - Northern California @GigUnionNorCal]

Gig workers should be paid for the time they spend working.

Pass it on.

[Gig Workers Collective @GigWC]

Friendly reminder that if you’re ordering your Thanksgiving meal online, please tip well. This is a rough week for gig workers.

The worker who’s completing your order doesn’t receive the delivery or service fee. They’re also being paid significantly below minimum wage.

[gh0stn 🦍 @_gh0stn]

LMAOOO IM NEVER DELETING THIS APP

[Nicole Moore @nicoemoe]

In case you were wondering who the real winners were on prop 22 passing. It wasn't drivers. You can see why the co's were OK w/ putting in over $200 million to pass it. They could've put in a billion & they would have come out ahead. Workers need basic labor law. Non-negotiable.

[Nicole Moore @nicoemoe]

Ok drivers & delivery workers in CA: we are committed to justice & we have each other’s backs. We will fight til we win: fair pay, basic labor rights, & a real voice on the job. We are not 2nd class workers. No law they bought & paid for will change that. @_drivers_united /1
