Ebrahim Rezaei: Pakistan Is Part of the Enemy’s War Against Iran, Not a Neutral Mediator

Ebrahim Rezaei, a member of Iran’s National Security Committee, has criticized Pakistan’s position, stating that a country presenting itself as a mediator has, in practice, become part of the enemy’s joint war effort against Iran.

Rezaei said Pakistan has consistently adopted an anti-Iranian stance, blamed Iran for the 40-day war, frozen Iranian assets at the enemy’s instigation, and served as an instrument of economic pressure.

He stressed that such conduct is incompatible with genuine mediation and emphasized that Iran must remain vigilant and cautious regarding Pakistan’s stance.

The Silence Must Be Broken Over Asim Munir’s Misguided Policies!

Asim Munir is trying to damage relations with Afghanistan to such an extent and drive the two peoples so far apart that reconciliation and rapprochement would eventually become impossible.

All political parties in Pakistan should stand against Asim Munir’s policy toward Afghanistan. If they cannot do so, then they would be better off leaving the political arena, because politics cannot be conducted through fear and hypocrisy.

The leaders of Pakistan’s political parties should follow the path taken by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and stand with courage against military dictatorship and military rulers.

If party leaders and politicians do not stand today against the military’s misguided policies toward Afghanistan, then tomorrow they should not lament the consequences of damaged relations with Afghanistan and Pakistan’s resulting isolation.
