We would like to provide an update regarding the future of Sokoban Online.

Sokoban Online (currently V3) will be receiving a major upgrade with the development of V4. While we had previously considered canceling V4, positive community feedback has encouraged us to move forward with the project.

V4 is a technically ambitious undertaking, as it will be developed for both console platforms and the web. Please note that the web version will most likely not include the full campaign (Adventure Mode). Access to the campaign and several other exclusive console features will require purchasing the game on console. All existing features from V3 will remain available in the web version, which will continue to be free-to-play with full level-building capabilities.

For users with active PRO accounts, we are pleased to offer the console version at no additional cost once it is released, upon completion of a simple claims process.

At this time, we do not have a confirmed release schedule for V4, as we are actively seeking an experienced HTML5 developer to complete the project. If you know of any qualified HTML5 developers who may be interested, we would greatly appreciate your recommendations.

Announcing Uphill Studio TV!

Uphill Studio TV will be a Christ-centered gaming television network that will stream on the internet and cable channels in the USA and eventually around the world.

We are currently looking people who have a passion of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ who also enjoy reviewing new and retro video games in a biblical and family-friendly perspective. We need producers, hosts, and others to join the team.

More details will be announced next week, including a website and further details of the team we are looking to build.

Please note, Uphill Studio TV will exist alongside corporate Uphill Studio, which will begin producing 8-bit and 16-bit Christian-themed console games starting in 2027. Our legacy project Sokoban Online 4.0 will be delayed until further notice.
