@PFackrell I don't know if you're new to watching Strictly, but this formula is not new. People need to wind their necks in getting so personal with their criticisms towards her, but it was obvious to Strictly fans that she was not going to get the public vote.
@PFackrell The public doesn't tend to like someone with previous media or dance experience, so this year it's her and Lewis.
They want a journey, and Amber's family are the embodiment of theatre. Isn't her sister in Les miserables or something like that? It's a predictable outcome.
@PFackrell She has had the most progression and resonates with the audience more. Strictly is about the journey and she has come across as extremely likeable and genuine.
Dance ability is obviously Amber, but she has started by being excellent and has not had a dramatic progression.
@cujediva To simplify it- if I said I was selling a dog, but when you arrived it was a cat I was trying to sell, then it is false advertisement.
Alexis's routine is the same. Can't be judged because it is inaccurate and didn't fit the criteria. I enjoyed it, but it can't be ignored.
@cujediva It's not about emotion, it is about them performing the dance that they were given.
There are characteristics that belong to each dance which is what they are being judged on- Alexis failed to meet that criteria on a foundational level so George couldn't have been scored higher
@sam__wxm Of the two, I think Vicky had more noticeable progress and enthusiasm overall, but you can't deny that she struggled through that routine.
It is based off of that dance alone at the end of the day
Vicky really grew on me.
I didn't know about her career history or any scandals, but her character was a true addition to the show-we'll feel her absence

I am so disappointed with George being given inappropriate choreography for the assigned dances. The man is being SABOTAGED.
Craig's getting dragged through the mud for his comments, but they're entirely appropriate.

@Ceejay62Cj@GeordieArmani Also worth saying that when it comes to representation- that can and will attract votes from the audience and pity votes exist as well which I don't like on the show.
Ellie went from daddy-daughter dancing to entertainment. I didn't expect to like her as the competition went on
I'm here for Ellie and Vito to stay tbh.
More interesting to watch in terms of performance. Think Balvinder plateaued though I did have high hopes for her
#StrictlyComeDancing#Strictly
@Ceejay62Cj@GeordieArmani As mentioned previously, Balvinder has not got much contrast in her performances so it lands flat to the audience. She isn't an entertainer.
Ellie obviously lacks technique, but has made progress and her enthusiasm helps carry votes and translates well on-screen.
@GeordieArmani Yeah, I still think between the two, Ellie should have continued. I don't think Balvinder will be there much longer if she maintains this tbh, though I've not warmed to her partner either tbh
@GeordieArmani As I said- performance. Ellie does not have the technique down, but she is entertaining. Balvinder doesn't seem to have much contrast in her dancing and it drags on
Nikita and Amber
Can't cope with how much I love a good performance from Amber. She's as enthusiastic as Nikita but completely contrasts him in a complementary way.
Powerhouse.
