On the final day of term, we were delighted to welcome former pupil Sophie Crompton back to speak with our learners about her career journey in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. Sophie shared her experiences working with Magnum Ice Cream at Unilever.

The CBC aims to find, recognise, nurture and champion the city’s brightest young business brains and celebrate emerging entrepreneurs.

The U15 Cricket team achieved🥈in the Chester and District soft ball. Great evening and games against @abbeygatecollege @bishopschester especially @thekingsschoolchester in the final. There was only 4 in it with 1 bowl to go and kings hit a 6 👏🏽 great game!

Members of the Eco Schools Action Group participated in the Chester Zoo School Takeover Day. They spent the day talking to zoo visitors about water consumption and conservation. The group created a game to raise awareness of water consumption in the production of everyday items.

Feedback from learners is that they would appreciate the opportunity to contribute again to our Pride event. So we will be back in the Octagon on Wednesday 8th July over both lunches (PLaN A & B) so that everyone has the opportunity to help support us.
