@Vmaximus009@Pirat_Nation Some PC gamers will buy a console and some won't. Same is true of the inverse. If you're making good games and limiting them to 1 console you might be able to capture 100% of those who will buy a console, but you'll never capture the players who won't buy a console no matter what
@Nephrite_Dreams@Kriztosx@N0V_A42@AdmiralAegis I honestly wouldn't find that strange at all, but that may be more to your point, that as someone from an American context it seems natural to me that someone would make a direct reference to something I would think analogous to a state rather than just saying "Canada"
@Nephrite_Dreams@Kriztosx@N0V_A42@AdmiralAegis I think the overall point is fair, but I think that's a bit over the top in terms of granularity and obscurity. If somebody told me they're from Saskatchewan I wouldn't think "well, just tell me your street address at that point why don't you?"
@DaNkUs_03@alexander22_eli@DuckyLe2nd The question is when do changes you make to present the same game to new players turn it into a different game. I don't think any of the remakes are awful but it's unfortunate how they can effectively overwrite the original experience in popular imagination.
@cartalic@Kriztosx@N0V_A42@AdmiralAegis Fair enough, I think this is just a case where because I'm more familiar with the individual states there's not the same drop-off in how reasonable it is to make a specific reference. To me, if they had said "she's going back to Hoboken" I would see that as a bigger tell.
@Kriztosx@N0V_A42@AdmiralAegis Yeah, I looked into it out of curiosity and it seems to be completely fabricated. Would it not be unusual to say something like "my girlfriend is returning to London" rather than saying they're returning to England more broadly for example? Just curious.
@Kriztosx@N0V_A42@AdmiralAegis It's his girlfriend, it's pretty sensible that he would know where she's from. Of course it's reddit so I'm not saying it's definitely not fake but still.
@smelltheasphalt@__0HOUR1_ The reality is, the faster you're going the more suddenly it can be placing others in danger and the more difficult it becomes to rectify the danger.
@CatholicaPuella If Nagito had internet access on Jabberwock Island he'd be writing, "trust me, you don't even want to know..." replies on social media comments asking for context
@luisjgomez Would you expect someone who does the cost analysis for themselves and decides it's not worth it to pay for it and attend anyway just to be sure?
