@IManghaila Great quote! Just a small correction that many many many makeโit was actually said by Barton Biggs. Warren Buffett later quoted it in one of his shareholder letters, which is probably why it's often attributed to him. ๐
@FantasmaTrades@LeifInvests Here is a post for reference. I don't post on here much but I think I am the only $SOFI bear around. By the way I currently have no position.

I feel like I am the only 1 on X who has been bearish $SOFI. It's not that I don't like the co but the chart has been in a downtrend 4 quite some time. In addition, when it failed the 2025 zone around $18.75 I knew something deeper was going on. Here's an image I shared recently.
@FantasmaTrades@LeifInvests Yes but I shorted it. I have been short $SOFI several times in the last 9 months. Not holding the 200 is my golden ticket. It's 100% not ready for a long position right now.
@FantasmaTrades@LeifInvests Again I disagree. $SOFI's been great 4 me both long & short using TA. Also, TA helps alleviate noise. People lose money due 2 their beliefs more than anything else. It always amazes me how many people have such strong convictions while the chart tells the real story & never lies.
@FantasmaTrades@LeifInvests I totally disagree. They have both been amazing shorts. $FUBO is just straight down. A short sellers dream. $SOFI is a bit more annoying. It likes to pop then fade.
@GrindeOptions There are likely no cuts this year and financials are currently being tested. $SOFI is in a specific downtrend and cracked a new level of support. While I stopped shorting $SOFI, there is likely more downside to come. Regardless I follow the trend and not what I believe.
@PaperBozz A lot of traders say the same things that end up hurting them: โIโll DCAโฆ Iโll just waitโฆ Notoโs a great CEO.โ
I did a whole YT video on this, belief traps people.
I only trade the trend, not the story.
And the irony? Most $SOFI holders quietly wish they werenโt in it at all.
@DividendGrowth Please give credit where credit is due. This is not Warren Buffettโs quote. He simply repeated it. His quote is attributed to Barton Biggs.
@CarsonTalkMoney Charting is all I do & I couldn't imagine doing what U do but I respect your fundamental skills. I suck at that. For me it was fun longing $SOFI last year and shorting it earlier this year. I have no position as of now. It has to reclaim the $18.75 area for me to rejoin the long.
๐จ A HIDDEN reason $SOFI sells off.
Itโs not ER, guidance, or fintech sentiment. Itโs the 30Y.
With the 30Y near 5%, funding costs โ, loan demand โ, & credit risk gets repriced.
This isnโt a dip. Itโs a macro chokehold. Until long yields fall, $SOFI wonโt catch a bid.
@CarsonTalkMoney For me it's simple, I could care less what others are saying about the stock. I trade the chart only. It's so easy to get caught up in the hype but in the end of the day there are companies that bleed money but rip and vice versa.
@CarsonTalkMoney What I said is accurate if you read it again. They both missed but $HOOD was cleaner. The issue is people think a company and a stock are the same. Professionals run companies and everyone with an account can trade stocks.

In a strong bull run for the last week, $SOFI has under performed imo. $SPY is up 8% and $SOFI only 6%. The most concerning part is it's now underneath the 6/25 support now resistance of $18.42. Any, bearish momentum in the market and $SOFI will see another leg down.
