@percyhallum@Mrgunsngear The statement indicates that this was a rented space. Certain rights were conferred to the organization holding the event. He probably did not have a right to be there. There are other means to achieve the desired ends.
@CoffeeBlackMD Work longer and harder, for what purpose? The cost of everything far outpaces my gains. Tax increases outpace my gains, and what is taken in taxes (under the threat of violence) supports things I find reprehensible. So again, why?
@tjmorris_bear Did it remote. Posted on Signal and Discord, but ended up doing it alone. Figured I should document it if I am going to wear the shirt. Hope y'all had a good one.
@SergeantShultz_@janiesaysyay@jayplemons@ScottAdamsSays I agree that some decisions should not be empirically based. For example, stopping someone from harming a child should not be based on probability of successfully accomplishing the goal without incurring personal harm.
@SergeantShultz_@janiesaysyay@jayplemons@ScottAdamsSays My position is that civil discourse is essential, and avoiding confrontation is preferred, but that evil is not swayed by discourse and avoidance is not always achievable.
@SergeantShultz_@janiesaysyay@jayplemons@ScottAdamsSays I listened months ago, and again now in case my recall was poor. I suppose I am missing something that requires greater nuance than I am capable of at the moment. Would you be so kind as to enlighten me?
@SergeantShultz_@janiesaysyay@jayplemons@ScottAdamsSays I know. And? I think that what he was doing was critical and admirable, but I see the empirical basis for my position as being irrefutable. I can look at any period in human history from now back to Cain and Abel and only see support for it.
@janiesaysyay@SergeantShultz_@jayplemons@ScottAdamsSays I wish that this was true, but history shows that it is effective in an infinitesimally small number of cases occurring in unique circumstances. It will almost always fail and result in the wholesale slaughter of the innocent.
@drstandley@LeadingReport I assumed that it would be in a peer reviewed journal, but it looks like it is a self-published analysis. https://t.co/MMoyWWZeji
@TheShawnHendrix It is very location dependent. My local TJs stopped selling eggs 4-5 weeks ago - the cooler space is used for other products. Costco has not had them most weeks since mid-December - only carton eggs whites. ~$7/dozen in the local chain (Giant Eagle), when they have them.
@SharylAttkisson Yes. When they decide to deliver (2-3 times per week), it is very late. Had to switch to email notification of bills for utilities, cc, etc. to avoid late payments. I have Informed Delivery, so I can see what has been sent and when it is supposed to arrive.
@OldHollowTree B. We buy a great deal of raw honey, and I prefer to have a bottle I can dig in if I want to avoid heating it up. We also buy some pasteurized honey, but it is probably 10 percent or less of what we use in a year.
