@jturn510 Thanks James! Definitely travel. Egypt, see the wildlife in Africa, maybe take a month and go to southeast Asia, Europe of course. Thinking about taking some history courses in areas I don't know as much as I'd like.

@dustyjames529 Thanks! Just turned 64 but I was done with learning new systems and long days. Time to enjoy life more before I break a hip or something that really limits me.

@skoghund I kinda wish I did. Still not sure I'm doing the right thing. It's so early. But I had to retire eventually. Surprised how much my identity is tied to the job. I know this but I'm still having a hard time defining myself, my purpose, without it.

@jturn510 Finally talked to my boss. He wants me to continue as is till someone notices and retire then. I figure I'll hear from them end of feb-mar if anyone is actually going to ck. But the more I look at the numbers the more I'm thinking of just setting a date, like july or dec.

Got a big decision to make. Corp ended all wfh n want 4days in/wk. Spoke to fin advisors n retired people I know to see where I am w retire saving. Everyone says I'm in great shape and can start now. Was hoping for 20mo more for Medicare eligible. Not sure if I should do it.

Even though it was quarter end took fri off and went to Indiana Jones opening. After 40yrs I finally reached the end. Ive attended every opening of Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

@dustyjames529 Pretty good, itchy as hell. Did get a patch. Its blurry so hard to look with both eyes. Easier to stare down but looking forward to Wednesday and stopping the restrictions. I can actually see the bubble if I look closely. Shifts like a level when I move my head,unnerving really.

Surgery is done. Now 7 days looking at the floor to make sure it heals properly.

Was looking at my eye this morning and I can actually see the bubble floating around and moving when I tilt my head. It's a very strange feeling.

Can't believe this just happened. My neighbor, in his mid 70's and computer illiterate, asked me if I could find a bi black guy w a big dick to have a 3some with him and his wife. I said I'd see what I could do but I'll only find a website and he'll have to take it from there.

Probably will have foggy vision for at least a month.Have to keep the bubble they're going to insert in the eye pushing against the back.. I may even have to rent a special share for that. If it doesn't work I'll probably loose sight in that eye.

Back from the surgeon. Trying to get me in surgery Friday. Or soonest appointment they can get. Did damage by not coming in earlier, scar tissue forming. Hopefully they can clear that and reattach retina. Have to take a week off from work n stare directly at the floor 24/7.

During my annual eye exam I was told I have a detached retina. Now I'm waiting in the surgeons office to hear how bad it is and when they'll schedule the surgery.

Can't believe its supposed to be windchill of -40 tomorrow and back up to 45 by Sunday. Coincidentally, -40 farenheit is also -40 Celsius.
