Are you tired of the corruption in Columbia? Do you want to send a message to the political establishment and the swamp? Then join us in demanding a change.

I’ve received a lot of criticism from people who either don’t understand—or simply refuse to comprehend—what we’re actually trying to accomplish. This isn’t about pretending Graham won’t win. It’s about sending a message.

Graham may very well win, but the margin matters. If this race ends up being significantly closer than expected, it should serve as a wake-up call to the SCGOP. The goal is to make party leaders understand that South Carolina voters are paying attention, and that they cannot continue conducting business as usual without consequences at the ballot box.

For far too long, Columbia has been plagued by political insiders and career politicians who appear more concerned with protecting their own interests and those of their allies than with listening to the citizens they represent. If this race is closer than expected, perhaps it will force some of them to think twice about the direction they’ve been taking.

And if they don’t get the message, then so be it. At some point, the responsibility ultimately falls on voters. We cannot continue electing the same people and then act surprised when nothing changes. Citizens have a responsibility to research the candidates, understand the issues, and hold elected officials accountable for their actions.

And if Andrews does end up winning, then so be it. That would undoubtedly send a shockwave through Columbia and force the political establishment to take notice. She would serve the remainder of the current Senate term, and voters would ultimately decide who holds the seat going forward.

Either way, the purpose of this movement is bigger than one candidate or one election. It’s about sending a clear message: South Carolina voters are paying attention, and we’re no longer willing to accept politics as usual.
