For many people, Memorial Day is a long weekend.

For some of us, it never ends.

The names stay with us.
The memories stay with us.
The sacrifice stays with us.

I put this together because Memorial Day is not just one day on a calendar. It is every day for the families, friends, and brothers who still carry those losses.

Freedom was paid for by people who gave up their tomorrows for our todays.

Take a moment.
Listen.

What an honor! I got to sing to Veterans from WWII all the way to Iraqi Freedom and all in between at the local VFW. A few of these men are over 100 years old.

Thank you for posting this. I also wonder how these drugs interfere with the brain healing. I had a brain tumor removed last August, a benign olfactory groove meningioma. I was prescribed a drugs by my primary care doctor to reduce cholesterol and blood pressure. I took myself off of them and am glad I did.
