President Trump is back on the White House grounds, personally checking progress on the massive new State Ballroom rising where the East Wing once stood.

The video gives a rare close up look at the construction site as crews push the roughly 90,000 square foot project forward. The structure is intended to host large state dinners and events that previously required temporary tents on the lawn, while also incorporating upgraded security, underground facilities, and other modernization elements.
Work has moved quickly despite ongoing legal challenges from historic preservation groups, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Lower courts issued injunctions requiring congressional authorization for major changes to the White House, but the Supreme Court later allowed above-ground construction to continue.
Trump has repeatedly said the ballroom will be completed, describing it as a long-needed addition and a gift to the country.
The footage captures him surveying the work in person.
