As a heatwave sweeps Britain, retail union @UsdawUnion is urging employers to protect workers and renewing its long-standing call for a legal maximum workplace temperature.
With no current statutory upper limit, Usdaw General Secretary @JoanneGSUsdaw warns of rising risks of heat stress, accidents and illness — and backs stronger action to safeguard staff in retail, distribution and other sectors.
