10 or so yrs ago, my Mom gave me these sunglasses. 1yr ago today I was driving to Ohio because she was admitted to the Hospital. Today, I found this note in my sunglasses case. No idea how long its been there or when she put it there. But I needed to see it today. She was amazing

My aunt just died in Cuba for lack of ambulances or even a car to take her to the Hospital. Suffering of a heart attack for almost 10 hours. She didn’t even have an aspirin to take while her heart was dying. Wasn’t until a neighbor tracked down someone with a car to take her to the hospital. By then it was too late. Then they get put her into the ground with hours of passing before the body starts to change for lack of formaldehyde. Then in 5 years we get to go back to dig up her bones to make room for the next person.
