Backdoor deer-elf cosplay / green screen session (April 2023)
This was a huge, long photo shoot on green screen so I could later composite her into fantasy backgrounds. We went all out!
By this point I had finally bought the long red velvet gloves and the perfect red platform heels (bought months earlier for work and specifically for Backdoor cosplay… they were made for her). I was so excited… but then disaster struck: I completely lost my red thigh-high stockings the day before the shoot. Couldn’t find them anywhere, and no time to buy new ones. Classic cosplay tragedy.
The antlers were the cheap eBay headband version worn under the Rukia wig (also cheap eBay… lesson learned, never buy low-quality cosplay gear). The headband was uncomfortable and the antlers were way too big for the wig. The black bob wig was there to hide my short hair, but looking back it was a bit silly, especially since I had already done earlier shoots with my real short hair and no wig at all.
Red eyes added in post (as always, all photos were heavily edited and retouched before going live).
I’ve improved my Backdoor cosplays a lot since this session. I still keep the core look (black hair, antlers, elf ears, red eyes), but now I love mixing her with other outfits I actually enjoy wearing too. This was the “proper” canonical version I was building toward at the time, and I still really like the final vibe… but I’ve come a long way! What do you think of this older version?

My two worlds have one weird thing in common: physical toll. Pentesting is carpal tunnel and bad posture from sitting in a chair for 12 hours straight trying to bypass a login page. Pole is bruised inner thighs and friction burns. Either way, #RealMe wakes up sore. No glamour, just grit.

Backdoor deer-elf cosplay – Just for fun (February 2023)
This session was pure playful chaos. I was still experimenting with how to bring Backdoor (a character that’s existed since 2012) to life, and that day I just wanted to have fun with it.
I had just bought these new ultra-tight “real skin” red gloves and thought they looked cool. My girlfriend at the time (you know, the furry one with the full fursuit) took one look at me and said “damn, you got a big ass now”. She wasn’t wrong!
Between pole dancing, the stress of switching from Help Desk to Sysadmin, and life in general, the weight had definitely gone straight to my butt (never to my chest, which is why I use push-up bras and pads).
We turned it into a silly but spicy Backdoor shoot in the entrance of her apartment. Me on all fours, twerking while she was taking photos… we were laughing the whole time. It was stupidly fun.
In the end I sold those “real skin” gloves (they didn’t age well) and went back to my old reliable ones. But these pictures still make me smile. Early experimental era, unfiltered Backdoor energy.
