Did you know that Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is available as both an oral pill and as an injection for preventing HIV? Through U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (U.S. CDC) in Botswana and other partners, the Government of Botswana has introduced a long-acting injectable (CAB-LA), which is conveniently taken once every two months for HIV prevention.

This injection is now available in 10 health districts across Botswana, with plans underway to expand access to the entire country. #USCDCBotswanaAt30
