Today We're Launching NOCT: The AI For Perpetuals.
CA: 0xaac9608cb40b2077fefaa661b28c0b70d0e72bad
Perps never close, and the best setups rarely show up while you're watching. So we built a terminal where you describe the trade once, in your own words, and the AI turns it into a strategy you can see, test and arm.
Access Noct: https://t.co/qP8NHCuAEa
How It Works:
You write a rule the way you'd text a friend:
"When BTC goes above $90,000, open a 5x long with $500 and a stop loss at 6%"
NOCT's AI reads it, finds the trigger, the order and the exit, and wires them into a flow on a canvas. Before you change anything, it shows the exposure, the margin at risk and the distance to liquidation. Then it suggests what to tighten next: a take profit, a different leverage, a Telegram alert.
Refine it by chat or drag the nodes by hand. Run a test that walks the whole flow and sends no order. When it looks right, arm it with repeat rules you control: cooldowns, a daily cap and a daily loss limit that stops it. Pause it whenever you want.
Strategies can react to price, funding rates, Fear & Greed, the US 10Y yield, Polymarket odds, a schedule, or posts on X that the AI reads as they land.
The Strategy gallery is live in NOCT.
Browse strategies other traders published, sorted by newest or most copied. Every card carries the historical replay NOCT itself ran when the strategy was published: PnL, trades, win rate, drawdown and how it compared to simply holding. Not numbers the author typed in.
Like one? Copy it and it lands in your strategies as a draft. Nothing is armed until you review it and arm it yourself.
Built something you're proud of? Publish it from its card. You see exactly what becomes public before your wallet signs, and you can unpublish anytime.
Past results aren't a promise. They're a better place to start than a screenshot.
"Chased it. Again."
Every trader knows why most of their losses happened. Almost nobody writes it down, so the same mistake comes back next week.
Trading history in NOCT now lets you add a note and tags to every closed trade from the last 90 days. Your own tags come back as suggestions, so "fomo" stays "fomo" instead of turning into five spellings.
Then it does the part a notebook can't. Per tag, it counts the closes, the win rate and the net result. Filter by tag to see just those trades.
Notes stay in your browser, and the CSV export now carries them too.
Turns out the most useful indicator might be your own handwriting.
Liquidation prices are easy to ignore until the market moves. So we put all of yours in one place.
Portfolio now has a Risk panel. Every open position is listed closest to liquidation first, with the distance in percent and price, plus leverage and margin. Next to it, your exposure by asset class: crypto, stocks, indices, commodities and FX.
Then there's the slider. Drag a price shock anywhere from -30% to +30%, for everything or just one asset class, and NOCT estimates your PnL and flags every position that would be liquidated.
What happens if Bitcoin drops 10%? You find out before the market tells you.
It's an estimate (mark prices, no funding, fees or slippage), and it says so on screen. Works with your wallet and with Practice positions.
Who's actually trading well on Hyperliquid this week?
That's now one click away in NOCT. The Follow page has a new Discover traders section built on Hyperliquid's public leaderboard. Rank by PnL, ROI or volume, over a day, a week, a month or all time.
We filtered it a little, because raw leaderboards are noisy. Accounts under $10,000 or with no trading in the period are left out, so a $9 account that's up 2,500x doesn't top the ROI list.
View opens any wallet's open positions without following it. Follow is one tap, and like everything on that page it's read-only: it signs nothing and moves no funds.
Past results don't predict future ones. But it beats guessing which address to paste.
Bonus also: New $NOCT flywheel will be introduced soon!
An interesting development update:
Some market moves come with a date attached.
NOCT's Markets page now has an economic calendar: FOMC decisions, CPI, the jobs report, PCE and GDP, straight from the Fed, BLS and BEA schedules through 2027, in your own time zone. Each release says what it is and how it usually moves markets.
The next one is the Fed on Wednesday.
Strategies also get a new trigger, Economic event. It can fire a set number of minutes before a release, minutes after it, or only outside its window. That last one is our favourite: put it in an All of with your other conditions and the strategy simply sits out CPI.
And because the schedule is fixed, Test run can replay it on history too.
new strategy triggers just landed, and they're the ones traders actually use.
rsi above, below or crossing a level.
moving-average crosses, sma or ema.
volume spikes against the recent average.
bollinger band touches.
they run on 15m, 1h, 4h or daily candles, for crypto and https://t.co/8Avueh93vc markets, and you can just type them: "when btc's 4h rsi drops below 30, open a long" and NOCT AI drafts it.
every card shows its live reading, like "RSI 4h now 44.4", and whether it would fire right now.
two rules we didn't bend. a candle that's still forming never fires anything. and Test run replays these bar by bar on the same closed candles the live strategy uses.
Two new order types in NOCT, both for when one order is too blunt.
TWAP spreads an order across time. Pick a size and a running time from 5 minutes to 24 hours, and a slice goes out about every 30 seconds. With a wallet it's Hyperliquid's own native TWAP. In Practice we simulate it on live prices. Running TWAPs get their own tab with progress and a Cancel button.
Scale spreads an order across price. Give it a range and 2 to 20 limit orders, evenly sized or heavier further out. Every price lands on a valid tick, every order is at least $10, and the whole ladder goes out in one request after a preview of every order.
There's so much stuff coming to Noct, we are improving the product around the clock here, hope you are enjoying it so far.
Most position sizing starts backwards. You pick a size, then find out what it risks.
We flipped it in the ticket. Switch Size by to Risk, say how much you're willing to lose (in dollars or as a % of equity), set your stop, and NOCT works out the size.
The math is simple: risk divided by the distance to the stop. The part we cared about is everything around it. Taker fees on the way in and out and slippage are counted, and the size rounds down, so hitting the stop costs about what you chose, rounded in your favour.
Before you send anything you see the order value, the loss at the stop with fees, the leverage it needs and the margin at your leverage. If it needs more leverage than the market allows, more margin than you have, or ends up under $10, the ticket says so.
Long or short, market or limit, with your wallet or in Practice.
If you have any feedback our dms and comments are open guys.
Every trader draws lines. Until now, in NOCT they just sat there.
Now click one with the crosshair and it gives you two options.
Alert me here. A new alert opens already filled in, at the exact price you drew.
Use in a strategy. NOCT drafts a trade on the break, on Practice: $100 at 2x, a 10% take profit and a 5% stop. A flat level becomes a price trigger. A trend line gets its own trigger that keeps extending the line to the current candle, so a falling trendline still means something tomorrow.
Nothing runs until you open the draft and arm it.
Draw it once. Let NOCT keep an eye on it.
We will keep shipping and improving no matter the price action or market conditions.
Here's our newest update:
We all have the same habit: refresh the chart, check again, refresh again.
So we built alerts into NOCT, and now the chart does the watching.
You can set one for:
- a price crossing your level, on crypto or https://t.co/8Avueh8vFE
hourly funding going above or below a rate
- a position getting within X% of its liquidation price
- a wallet you follow opening, closing or flipping a position
It fires when the condition turns true, not on every tick, and it can fire once or every time with a cooldown. Add a note so future you remembers why you set it.
Everything lands in the bell and the log, and as a browser notification if you allow them. One honest caveat: NOCT has to be open in a tab for alerts to fire.
Every trader has started a journal spreadsheet at some point. Very few still update it.
We wanted one that keeps itself. So Portfolio now has a Trading history panel, filled straight from Hyperliquid.
Your account value as a curve over a day, a week, a month or all time, with the profit or loss and the volume you traded in that window. Below it, the last 90 days by UTC day: net result, realised PnL, fees, funding, win rate, and how many days ended green versus red. Then the same split by market, so you can see which coins actually paid and which ones just felt busy.
One thing we were strict about: if Hyperliquid rate-limits the funding history, the panel tells you. It never quietly shows zero and lets you believe it.
And if you'd still rather keep your own sheet, Download CSV gives you your fills and funding payments in one file.
If you have any feedback etc, please leave it below!
A strategy in NOCT has to clear a few gates before it can place a single order. We built every one of them on purpose.
Gate 1 is the graph. The builder flags any step nothing feeds, any branch that never reaches an action, and any merge that hasn't been told whether it needs all of its inputs or any one of them.
Gate 2 is a test run. NOCT walks the whole flow against current prices and reports which actions it would reach. No order is sent.
Gate 3 is the arm sheet: one screen with what the strategy watches, exactly what it will place, the margin at risk and its repeat rules.
Those repeat rules start from careful defaults: fire every time, at least 4 hours apart, at most 3 times a day. You can make it fire once and then pause itself, or add a daily loss limit that stops it.
If an order has no stop, the builder suggests one comfortably inside the liquidation distance (60% of it, rounded to the nearest half percent).
Once it's armed, every event lands in the strategy's history, and one tap pauses it. A paused strategy places no new orders.
If anyone still wondered whether there's a market for what we're building, the world's biggest exchange just answered it.
Binance's version: describe the trade, AI builds the strategy, you test it and run it.
That's NOCT. The difference is that we built it on-chain. Your strategy trades from your own wallet on Hyperliquid, across crypto, stocks and commodities. No exchange account, and nothing held by us.
Same direction. Different foundation.
New in NOCT: Practice mode!
$10,000 in virtual USDC, every market, live Hyperliquid prices. No wallet needed.
What's real:
the prices. fees at Hyperliquid's base rates. slippage. leverage, isolated margin, and liquidation if you push it too far.
What isn't:
the money. fills are simulated and nothing ever reaches an exchange.
Positions, open orders and history are all tracked, and take profit, stop loss and the chart lines work exactly like they do with real funds. Strategies can run on Practice too, which is honestly the best way to see what an idea does before it touches your balance.
Blew it up? Reset, and you're back at $10,000.
When you're ready, "Trade with real funds" is one click away in the ticket.
Hey guys, we have opened our dms if you have any questions or feedback about Noct.
You can also always leave a comment below any of our posts and we do our best to reply to you as soon as possible.
Thank you to everyone who has already tested the platform since launch!
293 perpetuals. Until now you found them one search at a time.
So we built a Markets page that ranks all of them in one live table. Crypto on Hyperliquid, and stocks, indices and commodities on https://t.co/8Avueh8vFE, side by side.
One tap re-sorts the whole board:
- Top gainers
- Top losers
- Highest funding
- Lowest funding
- Open interest
- 24h volume
Every row shows price, 24h change, funding with its yearly rate, open interest, volume and max leverage. Trade and Automate sit right on the row, so you go from scanning to acting without hunting around.
Star the markets you actually watch. Favourites becomes its own filter, and the same stars show up in the terminal's market picker. They're saved in your browser, no account needed.
Our bet is that Highest funding becomes the most-clicked button on the page. Tell us if we're wrong.
If you have any feedback or questions, feel free to DM us, or leave a comment below.
Papertrade in NOCT, in four questions.
What is it?
Its own venue tab next to Crypto and trade[XYZ]. You trade BTC and ETH from a separate account funded in real USDC on HyperEVM.
How is it priced?
Off the Hyperliquid midpoint, on the same chart you already use.
How is margin handled?
Isolated per position, from a $10 minimum.
How did we build the integration?
Every order is an EIP-712 intent that we build to match what Papertrade's own exchange signs, byte for byte. A signed intent is valid for one hour. Deposits land as USDC on HyperCore spot.
Your trades now live on the chart.
open a position and its entry line shows up right on the price, with size and live pnl on the tag. take profit and stop loss get their own lines. limit orders are dashed. liquidation is dotted, so you always know how far away it is.
the part we like most: grab the little grip on a line and drag it to move the order. limit, take profit, stop, all of them. the Γ cancels it.
we added two guardrails we'd want ourselves. with a Hyperliquid wallet, every drag opens a quick review before anything is sent. and a limit can't be dragged through the current price, because that would just fill it at market by accident.
works with your wallet and in practice mode.
we are excited to show you what is coming up to Noct, follow us here on X to stay up to date!
There is no NOCT account. No email, no password, no sign-up form. You connect MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby or any browser wallet, and that's the whole onboarding.
What that means in practice:
Your keys never leave your wallet. Deposits, bridge legs, loans and collateral moves each need your own confirmation.
To trade on Hyperliquid without a wallet popup on every click, your wallet approves a trading session once. That session key is created in your browser tab, expires after four hours and is never stored or sent to us.
And a few small things we sweated over:
If you start switching wallets and cancel, you stay connected to the one you had.
We never show a WalletConnect QR code that can't actually connect.
On a phone, NOCT offers one tap to reopen it inside MetaMask's or Phantom's own browser.
The order ticket now has take profit and stop loss!
We'll be honest, this one was overdue. Placing the entry and then scrambling to set a stop while price is already moving is nobody's idea of risk management.
Now you tick one box and plan the exit before you enter.
Type a price, or tap +1, +2, +5 or +10% for the target and the same steps down for the stop. Each exit shows what it's worth in dollars and in percent from your entry, and the ticket works out your reward to risk for you.
Both exits go out together with the order. They're reduce-only, so they can close your position but never flip it. And if your stop sits past your liquidation price, the ticket tells you before you send anything.
Already in a trade? There's a new TP/SL column in Positions. Add, change or clear exits from there.
More updates to the Noct software are coming up, stay tuned!
