ToDidIt

ToDidIt is a task app built around your wins, not your unfinished work.
Less to-do.
More to-did.

Switching task apps every few months isn't a productivity strategy. It's a reset button for the same backlog. The new tool feels clean for two weeks, then the same tasks pile up again. The problem was never the app. #Productivity #productmanagement

@deancousin The biggest shift was stopping the daily ritual of staring at what didn't get done. Logging finished work instead reframes the whole day. fwiw We've built ToDidIt around exactly that idea.

@kent_green @todoist @amix3k The inbox as a landing pad always felt backwards. You open the app to do work, not to reprocess a dump. Starting on Today or your last project would reframe the whole first thirty seconds.

@nilesh070 Every system adds steps to justify its own existence. A five-minute task doesn't need ceremony, it needs to get done and disappear. The best tool gets out of the way for the easy stuff.

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

What did you actually finish this week? Most people can't answer without scrolling past what's still undone. A permanent log of completed work isn't motivation. It's evidence you ship, and it reframes the backlog from guilt to context.

@createev Splitting by risk is smart. The real bottleneck isn't the 17 tasks, it's that the complex ones all need you as the verifier. Once the test plan is baked into the PR, your job shrinks from "review everything" to "read the results."

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

@josephmwood Things nails the planning layer, no question. The agent piece is the gap though. Curious what kind of agent workflow you're picturing, task creation or something that actually moves work forward for you?

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

@maikunari That "Needs Mike" tag is a clean filter, one list instead of pinging each bot. The trickier case is bots that stall silently without ever flagging themselves as blocked on you. 🤪

A task sitting untouched for three weeks quietly drains your momentum even if you never look at it. Finish it or drop it. Building a Stuck Sensor in ToDidIt that surfaces those tasks so you stop carrying dead weight. https://t.co/5ID1uh4WAj

Two hours building a Notion task database with rollups, filters, and five views. Zero real tasks entered. The setup feels like progress. It's procrastination with better aesthetics.

@BamoBuilds The hardest part of growing a team isn't the hiring, it's that nothing automatically tells you what got done. So you become the checker. And checking is work that doesn't scale.

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

Every time your team grows by one person, your task app bill ticks up another nine or fifteen bucks. So you start rationing who gets access. Half the team never gets invited and drifts back to chat and spreadsheets. The tool you pay for sits half-used. #product #seatlicenses

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

Capturing tasks feels productive. You brain-dump everything into an inbox and exhale. But if nothing gets sorted into projects or priorities, that inbox becomes a graveyard. The gap between capture and structure is where tasks slip through. #Productivity #product

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

@dinocres1 The forgetting part is the real problem, not the tool. You finish the thing but the system never knows, so it keeps nagging about dead tasks. An assistant that only reacts to you typing is just a prettier list.

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

A task sitting untouched for three weeks isn't just unfinished. It quietly drains your sense of progress every time you scroll past it. Finish it or drop it. Either way, moving on with a clear head beats carrying dead weight. #productmanagement #taskmanagement #ProjectManagement

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

@re_fba Free tiers from enterprise tools exist to lock you in, not to serve you long term. Building something that fits your actual operation beats subsidizing theirs.

[ToDidIt @UseToDidIt]

The real move is templating that infrastructure once. Folders, role definitions, instructions as a reusable base. Then every kickoff starts at original thinking instead of scaffolding.
