COACHING NEWS: @GamecockBSB, as expected since day one, will name Coastal Carolina's Kevin Schnall as its head coach. Schnall, despite flirtations with Scott Forbes (that wasn't happening), has been the frontrunner for the #Gamecocks job all along. Good job by SC not to overthink this.

Union County Names its next baseball coach.

Charles Johnson is a 2014 graduate of Union County High School. He played for Tommy Petty and Kirk Rebuck. He’s Been an assistant on staff since 2022.

He was also a coach on the 2021 Dixie Boys World Series Runner-ups from Union
