Dr. Sarah Braden had the opportunity to collaborate with the University of Utah on a major NSF Grant where she worked with refugee students to install cosmic ray collectors.

Dr. Stephanie Borrie from USU's Communication Disorders and Deaf Education Department recently presented at Blue Plate Research - an event hosted by USU's Office of Research. Dr. Borrie presented her research titled "The Science Behind the Art of Communication."
"Science tells us that to experience successful conversations, we cannot function as individual entities—you, me. Rather, we must collaborate our behaviors, coordinating our speech in meaningful ways.”

The lab also serves as a hands-on teaching laboratory for future early childhood educators. Students pursuing a degree in early childhood education or human development and family studies can enroll in a practicum or work as a part-time student teacher.
